The Grotte de Maxange is proposing a fun and educational activity: the ‘Break your Geode’ workshop!
Take a seat in our natural setting and set off to discover the treasures hidden inside the geodes!
The principle is simple: choose your geode, break it yourself using our tools (in complete safety), and admire the crystals formed over millions of years. A real geological adventure!
Practical information:
- Self-guided workshop, open during cave opening hours.
- Paying activity, no booking required.
- Available from February to October.
